The Role
As a Health and Safety Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Health and Safety team in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. You will provide administrative support and assist in promoting a strong safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update health and safety records, including risk assessments, incident reports, and training logs.
- Prepare figures and statistics to assist Project Safety Manager with preparing multiple monthly reports
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of safety documents, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate safety training programs and ensure employees are up-to-date with mandatory certifications.
- Track and report health and safety statistics and performance metrics.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safety protocols are communicated and adhered to.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring all documentation is organized and readily available.
- Monitor compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
About You
- Experience: Previous administrative experience, ideally in health and safety, rail, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
- Qualifications: Health and Safety qualifications (Desired but not essential)
- Skills: Strong organiational skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication: Confident and professional with the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
- Passion: A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in health, safety, and compliance.
